Broken Commodore 64

Yesterday, I bought a Commodore 64 from a flee market. When I got home, I was trying to hook it up. Sucess! It works! I then loaded up a game. Outrun, prehaps. I held Shift+RunStop and then it came up with "Press play on tape". I then pressed play. It came up with multi-coloured borders as it was loading. It came up with a music selection (Magical Sound Shower/Splash Wave). I then played the game. I then resetted the Commodore 64. It did nothing. I restarded it via a power switch, still nothing. I was devistated. I need another C64 or someone to repair it.
